Setting Up Your Digital Camera
Before you shoot, check the following:
1) Exposure. Start with the "P" or "Program" setting, if you have one. Unlike the fully automatic mode (sometimes marked with a green square or the word "Auto"), in many cases this mode gives you control over your flash and other important camera functions.
2) Size. If you ever plan to print your photos, make sure you are shooting at the largest number of pixels possible. (If you have a four megapixel camera, for instance, make sure you are shooting in the four megapixel mode, not just one or two. This might be called "Large" or it might be listed as the largest pair of pixel dimensions, e.g. "3888x2592".) If you don't ever need to print these photos, and you just intend on using them for
