Updates

5 September 2009

The website is beginning to come together, thanks to Alema and Thekra, but there is still a lot of content yet to add. As of today we have commitments from classes in 21 countries participating! The event is growing fast! We have a little more than two months until the OneDay event on the 10th of November. My own classes start next week - I hope to start some activities with them in the regular One Day in the Life project by the end of September.

Update: Make that 22 countries.

18 September 2009

New activity has begun in the One Day in the Life forum, thanks to participating schools in Taiwan. My own students in the USA have begun work on the Morning Routines and Mealtime themes in preparation for the 10 November event. They have also met with photojournalist and mentor Susan Copen Oken, whose idea sparked the upcoming event. I expect they will post some introductions next week.
